Ladies, be honest… how many of you have had this exact laugh thinking about parents taking on full-time summer duty?

We spend 9 months wrangling, teaching, nurturing, redirecting, and loving on these kiddos — and then June hits and it’s their turn. Bless ‘em!

what’s the first thing you do on day 1 of summer break?

Anyone have a recommendation for stinky dog breath? Clean bill of health, “perfect teeth” according to the vet. Pup gets VetriScience powder for dental health and still - it reeks.

I’ve heard of water supplements but not sure if they help. Admittedly, could be better about brushing his teeth.

Experience sharing on calories deficit -
I have a normal body build but want to lose a few pounds(especially around my belly). I am making visible progress now by eating less(work gets busy and I use that to forget about hunger), a lot of walking, have casein protein to feel less hungry. Diet is really what do the trick.
But there are drawbacks too - my energy level(especially around night time) drop significantly that the level of exercise I used to do feels hard (light/mid intensity)

Any recommendations on fun things to do with a ~15 person team for work? (E.g. escape room) - trying to brainstorm ideas! Thank you!

NFW- I just had a good laugh. Earlier today I was on a video conference call reviewing a Private Label Agreement template with a larger company who wishes to brand label products we develop and manufacture. We came to a very one-sided provision and my sales VP stated “for this one, how can we just say ‘hell no’ ...nicely?” The other person on the call said we can replace the wording with just NFW (no f@$* way) and I said “I will have to add that to the defined terms section so it’s clear”

My mentors (partner & senior) have scheduled a feedback meeting with me on Wednesday. It’s not just me, they’re scheduling meetings with everyone so I’m probably keeping my job. Thing is, I’ve been incredibly frustrated with the firm - I’m buried in work and billing like crazy, but there’s zero transparency on financials and zero communication on bonuses (...)
