I have an offer with a company and joining is 27th of Jun. I got offer from JP Morgan on 20th and they have given joining 4th of July. I am planning to join in JP Morgan. If left my previous offer, i will have only JP Morgan. Will I have any risk to keep JP Morgan offer alone? Once we get offer from JP Morgan, is ther any chance of cancel the offer? Senior SWE here, 14 years of experience, working for a medium-ish sized company in the coastal VA area. The development team is extremely small and greatly overburdened. In my last review I asked for 135k trying to highball but they gave me 117k, up from 105k. Do y’all think I was expecting too much, or is it time to peace out?

Regional Public Senior that left to be a Senior Internal Auditor at a bank. I have a really good reputation here, my CAE tells me regularly he’s glad I’m here. I don’t do any SOX, I only do operational and compliance audits. I also manage an enterprise high risk issue validation process. I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.
