Get a power converter (not just the plug adapter) or wait and buy the same thing there.

Where in Europe are you going? When you get there, you should be able to go to a drug store and purchase one.
Last summer I went to both Spain and Germany. In Spain, the hotel had a extra converters at the front desk and I brought my own straightener, so I could use it. In Germany, my luggage was lost so the first night there I had to go to a drugstore and purchased everything I needed. Europe is not third world country, you can buy everything you need there.

Would a plug converter not work?
I went a month ago and used a converter. Both my revlon brush and curling iron broke. Started smoking and fizzled out. However, my expensive GHD straightener worked perfectly well in the exact same environment. I assumed quality of the tools was the difference
I bought a dual voltage air brush from Amazon for about $50. Worth every penny. Some of the voltage converters don’t work very well and you might end up with a smoking revlon!
Just get a converter, none of your devices, phone chargers included will work so you need a converter

Make sure you’re using a transformer and not just an adapter that changes the plug style.

Buy a GHD hot brush over there
I’ve always been able to make flat irons work! Just wear your hair straight

Yup - was there for 4 weeks last fall in 3 countries; regular adapter (not even a converter) was fine for my straightener.

Just get a plug adapter
Need a step down converter not just a plug that can handle the wattage of your device. FYI it won't be perfect. My mom's 15 horsepower (exaggeration by a little) steps down to not be super great so she usually just uses the hotel hair dryer.
Mine actually worked in Greece
Just order the Revlon when over there. I keep one in Europe and one in the US

+1 to a lot of these comments. I travel internationally frequently and it’s worth it to me to have high-quality plug type c hair appliances. That way the voltage always works and I just need a plug adapter to change the shape wherever I go. I purchased all overseas. I ruined a chi flat iron once and never again!!!

If you're there for that long, I would just buy one locally.
