Assuming a similar work schedule, does your SO really pull a 50/50 split at home of handling kids, domestic chores, etc? Doubt anyone has it down perfectly but how out of whack does the balance need to be before an issue? Has talking with your SO about unequal distribution of chores ever worked? Has anyone quit their job because of a relationship? I started my job 3 months ago and now my employer wants me to move to NY. The thing is, I fell in love during the pandemic with a friend that I have known for 3 years. It's frustrating since I know I could continue my job from home. Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Looking for a place to park on the west end while I send off and get approval my permit since I moved here on the weekend. Any good, safe inexpensive options? Also are there any inexpensive underground parking spots that’s monthly. My building has a waiting list.
