Hi ,what is salary of DGM at Reliance jio
People from Mindtree please help. I have received offer letter from Mindtree for C4 position as Angular Developer. My base location is Mumbai and I don't wish to relocate under any circumstances. Do Mindtree have presence in Mumbai (please do consider their merger with LTI and LTI do have significant presence in Mumbai)? Do they have enough projects for Mumbai location and for Angular profile?

It’s terrible, some groups are worse than others obviously and some provinces definitely have a reasonable approach but overall the people are not very friendly, clique culture is strong, very poor tone at the top and an all around bias. Several others and myself worked at KPMG in other countries prior to moving to KPMG Canada and was shocked by how different the culture is and people’s attitudes are in comparison. I haven’t seen any of these videos you refer to but from personal experience and from the experience of some people I know personally, it’s a one way ticket to anxiety and gaslighting. The work doesn’t change much but audit quality as of late has been terribke as well, mostly due to the shortage of staff and decreased interest of existing staff.
Typically, KPMGers are a friendly group, social and helpful but that definitely isn’t the case here.
I want to start by saying I’m not massive advocate for KPMG, frankly I see the gripes and issues internally but at the same time, I also like to call out a bit of BS/unfair labeling.
No offense D1 but you sound ultra jaded. Likely you just had a bad interaction with a select group.
The last part of your post is a blanket statement for any big 4 firm - audit work doesn’t change much in general since it’s compliance. Audit is a commodity which everyone needs, unfortunately there’s minimal difference between big 4 and even MNP, GT, BDO.
You did mention it varies by service line and group though so I’ll give you that.
I worked there for 6 years from 2011 under Advisory. It was better then. It shaped my career and opened doors to different opportunities. The managing partner then was an engineer - Truly genuine nice guy and he was kind to all levels of staff. After 2019, it changed, they restructured the company benefits package. I heard it’s not as good as it used to be. Back then, The team that I was under was excellent; however even partners left and pursue other opportunities. I would say the good thing about working under KPMG is the secondment opportunity; they sponsor and moving expenses are paid for by the firm. I’m not sure about now.
Don't. Just don't.
Can you please share the titles of the videos? Am thinking of joining KPMG. Thanks
