Hi everyone!! This is exactly the group I've been looking for. I'll be starting my new (and first) consulting job at ZS Associates at the end of the month and I'm so nervous that I'll crash and burn. I'm very proud to be an ENFP, but the flaws that come along with it (distraction, procrastination, disorganization) seem like a recipe for disaster. I'm not sure if I should spend this next month trying to change my habits or if I should just embrace it. Anyway, what advice do you all have?

Thoughts on getting fed government jobs? I'm a first year associate in a specialized transaction group in DC and I fucking hate it. I had an internship at a federal department in school but after that went 2L SA/firm. Any hope of finding something? hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…
