Seeking advice: I am a young sales consultant and sales engineer working for a tech startup company. I have 6 years of sales experience. Honestly what's your thoughts on brand purpose? I have a concept that I'm presenting this week which is heavily based on a good cause but connected to the brand.

I'm new to marketing and I am not formally educated in it. I have just been learning through experience with the business. I'm supposed to put together a Market report for our sales team to refer to but I have been stuck on what I even include. I have an expensive subscription to a reporting database and I am supposed to translate these technical reports into 20-30 slides. I can't figure out if I am overthinking something simple or lacking some knowledge that people formally learn in school.

The crazy thing is they were just named the best local municipality to work for. It's upsetting. They advertise a "culture" but don'tapply it.
