Looking for ideas on how I can switch up interview formats. I haven't been at my best game, so I decided some change could help. Has changing your interview style worked out for you, or were you better off sticking to your original style and changing something else? Do share! My director suggested incorporating gamified elements or skill-based simulations to see how candidates tackle real-world challenges.. but that seems like a stretch to me.

I always resort toswitching up interview formats. It can definitely help if you’re feeling stuck because it just brings fresh energy and lets you see candidates in new ways. Idk about the gamifying but sticking to your core style and tweaking question types or adding panel input has worked well for me. It’s all about finding what fits your team and role best.

I’ll make little tweaks here and there. Never had a complete overhaul when it comes to interviews. Sometimes it can depend on the candidate/role, too.

And can’t impose judgment one way or another either.

I joined a new consulting firm and have been here for 6 months. Recently, a SaaS client (1k employees) that hired my old consulting firm reached out to me about a job opening - Lead BA working primarily to implement their benefit admin system for insurance companies. My current TC is 95k. Is it worth making the jump if the offer is north of 110k? Anything I should look out for? The client and coworkers were all nice, but I remember being stressed on the project due to limited resources.
