I received a Senior Game Developer position at Globant Game Studios and just wanted to know if anyone has any idea about this department. I received Bangalore as the base Location and they told me Pune is having all the team, in future will they ask me to join in Pune? Which I don't want to.

Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

About to head to the HC for a role in ProdOps and Strategy in Mountain View. 4 YoE at MBB, no competing offers. Recruiter gave me a form that asks expected comp.
Levels.fyi has only PM salaries. I haven’t been told the level but expect it to be L4.
What total comp would you expect for this role? Any advice would be super helpful, as I’m a bit lost.

Depends what you want to do. Some roles in cloud are not the same as core despite the same title as an example.
S&O is often disappointing if you were going in to it expecting to be a mission critical high impact role; but if you’re going there for a good salary, great WLB and to otherwise hit cruise control then you’re good.
Avoid engagement manager - you just write statements of work… and that’s it.
PgM is flooded to the brim, but in all honesty it’s not a bad role. Seems to be what most people are on as. If possible try to go to Technical Program management, higher comp ladder and slightly more interesting work (imo). Also, cloud PgM is very different than core (ads, legal, GAPP etc) core PgM is a good role.
PMM/PM is a fun role, it’s what I’d try to get to outside coming in.
TAM *can* be cool if you’re on the right account, but if you’re on the wrong one it’s a lot of in person support.
CSM is a good role if you want to do post sales business development. You’ll do growth strategy, consumption planning, relationship building etc. it’s a lead in to roles like CCE lead/Delivery Exec which parallels SM/P type responsibilities.
Honestly the only role I would avoid is EM, it’s just nebulous and the career progression isn’t super clear. But roles to avoid will be dependent on your interests too.

ProdOps can be great too. Just be careful if the work is actual product strategy vs chief of staff where you primarily track OKR progress, budget, headcount, etc.
