Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. If you already have an offer, it means your potential employer doesn’t care that you’re moving within a year. I doubt your job record will matter much to future employers as long as you are able to justify each move.
Good point. I guess I’m concerned about this move not working for at least 3 years. It’s an e-commerce company and the recent downturn for tech companies is causing hesitation. I’ve survived restructures before but seeing 10% of the legal team disappear has a lasting impact.

I'm a 7th year and am on my 4th employer. I agree in the in-house market, moving is probably the easiest way to get the seniority, responsibility and comp you deserve. Move if it will be the best for you in terms of your career.
