What broke me of that habit was consciously following what some people call a separation ritual. At the end of the workday you do something that engages your mind and has nothing to do with your work. It can be listening to music or podcasts, reading, cooking, whatever. If you do that for about 45 minutes, and keep at it every day, you'll find yourself transitioning to being on your own time and not thinking about work in the evenings.

That is an excellent recommendation! Perhaps leaving my home office and meditate, rather than jumping into another activity that may cause a distraction for a while, but then I return to worrying about work.
The only thing that helps me is physical exhaustion. If I don't work out for an hour each day, I will lay awake until 2-3 AM. It sucks, but at least I'm getting back in shape I guess.
That is great advice! Keep the body healthy and the mind stays active in a good way!
My wife is like this and I am the opposite. I look for the most efficient path to a solution and then don't think anymore. We clash a lot when we have to work together on something lol

At times, I am quick to a solution while my husband takes his time. He has zero patience and yet is like a snail, which is frustrating!
