Ask the students for a few ideas and then have them vote. Since it’s their reward, let them decide

I would say think about what your students are interested in and cater the movie to that! And of course ask them if they like the idea.
I found a lot of kids loved the movie “wild robot”. I thought it was adorable too
I always get requests to rewatch it❤️
I also taught 6th grade for 27 years. I retired a couple years ago. We had movie days as well. Some of the movies we watched were: Up, Cool Runnings, Rudy, Sandlot, The Wilderness Family, and many more. It’s was hard to find movies that were age appropriate, but the kiddos haven’t seen. Hope this helps. If you need more suggestions let me know.
“You’re killing me, Smalls!”
The Sandlot will live with them forever!
I’d pick a movie that they probably haven’t seen, classics like Rudy or The Blindside … anything PG though.
Wild Robot is a big hit!
