Hey guys, Since I am working in Deloitte and right now, I am working from home. I want to go Nepal for 2 months and I want to work from there. Do I need to tell my manager or simply I can go there and start my work. Is there any obligation?
Note- I don't want to tell anyone. Since it may backfire sometimes

It’s ok OP, I just wanted to say it’s OK. Really- no judgements, no comparisons. I’m a bit on the other end - i’m afraid i’m going to yell the shit at someone senior
I just take a walk- always helps. Or I go back to the lot, take the car and take a quick spin with some motivation speech giving it to me.
I’m sorry you went through this. I know it can seem disappointing and embarrassing. I went to the ER one time, and another time went back to the hotel early from panic attacks. Remember that this is a legitimate medical condition with very real physical side effects. We are all going to have bad days once in awhile. You are not a disappointment. You don’t have to share anything with your colleagues other than it’s a medical emergency, just like any other kind. I’m sure your colleagues know that you work hard and can make up/catch up on anything you missed. People miss work all the time for illnesses and other reasons
I actually opened up to my teammate to let them know what was going on. She was really understanding, which almost makes it worse haha. I’m just scared of it happening again when it’s a more important meeting
Please don't judge yourself or think you are a disappointment. If your colleague had to take the day off coz they got the flu, would you judge them? We just need to learn to be kinder and more compassionate with ourselves, just like we are with others.
No shame, many of us have been there. You’re not alone. Have you tried Xanax or Klonopin for episodic incidents? - all of us need some sort of aid at some point in our lives! Also new medicine called Spravato (nasal spray) has just been approved by the FRB for immediate relief with minimal side effects
I used to be prescribed lorazepam but when I stopped having anxiety attacks ~a year ago I stopped asking for them, and now I feel weird asking my psych for them
I've lived with anxiety my whole life and the thought of possibly having an episode in public, and the humiliation that I imagined would come along with it, was enough to trigger the worst episodes. It wasn't until I started admitting to my family and coworkers that I suffer from anxiety that I realized that there's a strength and peace that comes along with it. There'll be people who don't understand and even those who might judge. For those who wished to understand, I explained what living with anxiety was like. And eventually I stopped caring about those who judged. That's made me stronger. And I've found that more often than not the person I was admitting it to also suffered from something similar. You're not alone, not by a long shot.
