HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?

Centering elements. I worked with a younger AD once raging about art bords and she always had elements not centered lol
Totally get it. Art boards exist for a reason: efficiency, clarity, speed. Separate PSDs just slow things down and make version control a nightmare. I’d document the time wasted or errors caused, then bring that up with your CD. Sometimes they need to see the pain to shift.

Build out in art boards export art boards to PSDs later if needed for whatever producer, CD, or other dept requests it.
Yea I do this, it’s just a pain in the a** to edit later
the thing i've found with artboards is that if you make enough in one file, they'll crash a computer. that being said, i still prefer to keep everything in one PSD. i'll use artboards for different sizes of an asset, then group different versions of that asset's size in different folders and delete as i go
ngl though the most concerning part of this is having a CD who is requesting your native files so often that this is an issue 💀

When they first came out with the art board feature for photoshop my CDs hated it. I would just make a master file for me and then when they needed it I’d “export as separate files > select psd” and they never knew. A year later they were like look at this amazing feature 👁️👁️

I'm with you on this one, but I gave up the fight to get art boards here, too. PSDs aren't terrible but can be clunky from my experience. At the end of the day, I have to deliver what the boss wants. But I do like some other options suggested on here. Will try those out for myself, so thank you for asking this question for us all.
