I am having 2.5 years experience in the IT sector on vision plus as a software engineer (before joining the bank). This is my first post in Fishbowl, I'm looking for some genuine guidance on below query.

I have a total of 8.1 yrs of development experience in Java, Bigdata and Hadoop (new to it).
I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?
