Honestly, I think balance is a myth. Some days I’m a great mom, some days I crush it at work, and some days I barely hold it all together. I’m learning to celebrate the wins instead of focusing on what I didn’t do
I totally get that feeling like you're constantly juggling everything but never quite getting it right. It's exhausting! I think we all try to find balance, but it often feels elusive. Maybe it's not about perfection, but just doing the best we can each day. It's okay to let some things slide. You’re doing great!
It's fine to feel a little bit of guilt, at least I know that's what keeps me going somedays. But don't obsess over it. The image of some ideal life where you can do everything effortlessly is just silly. There are only so many hours in the day, and we have to allocate them as best we can. The people who talk about this mythical balance usually have a nanny or a maid or a personal assistant doing the real work anyway, I mean, who do they think they're kidding?
