All Rand Paul was doing was talking over Fauci and not allowing him to speak. Classless. Kentucky deserves better

Shockingly; Rand Paul wasn’t the dumbest conservative yesterday. That honor goes to Roger Marshall of Kansas, who didn’t realize that Fauci’s personal financial disclosures are public record and have been for a third of a century. He tried to call Fauci on it and ended up looking like a gigantic chud.

Now show the part where Tommy Tuberville asks Walensky about adverse reactions to the vaccine “So if VAERS data is unreliable, what does the American public have, if anything, to understand the risk of the vaccine?”
Walensky: “Oh we’re tracking that internally, perfectly safe. Don’t have the numbers right in front of me, but we can get back to you. Yes, the VAERS data is for sure unreliable.”
What else would you call a collection of unverified accounts?

Fauci completely deflected and tried to give some sob story about death threats, as if rand Paul isn’t acutely aware of what that entails.
Rand is 100% right, why was Fauci seeking to discredit these physicians via a media onslaught? Does no one find that very strange? These aren’t joe moron epidemiologists, they’re from Stanford, Harvard and Oxford. I found it pretty disturbing, but obviously he deflected well as the sheep ate up his response and we never got an answer

I would have liked to hear Fauci's response. And I bet you Fauci would have liked an actual chance to respond as well.
But again, that isn't the point. Paul had what, some 5 minutes to speak to Fauci? If Paul asks him some random loaded question, it's going to take Fauci 2 or 3 minutes to respond in a meaningful way that addresses the question and alleviates the concern. Doing so limits Paul's time to ask other questions but also puts him at risk of being proven wrong and looking like an idiot, as we saw with Senator Roger Marshall.
This is Paul's M.O. To be the one to take on Fauci. Paul gets his full opening remarks to frame the broader situation and to cast doubt. Then he gets all the time he needs to frame his questions. Then he doesn't let Fauci answer questions and move from one to the next.

Fauci gets the mic at 2 minutes. Fauci says he's wrong and then Paul goes on a rant not allowing Fauci to speak and answering the question himself. These might as well be rhetorical questions because Paul isn't looking for an answer. And certainly doesn't want to be proven wrong. Do watch the video again.
