How fast do your supervisors expect email responses normally (outside of intense trial prep time, filing deadlines, etc.)? If it is immediate, how do you maintain focus on a research or writing project if you are constantly interrupted by email?

Hi Team, I got interviewed in LTI and I got confirmation mail from HR that I am selected for discussed role and they want my documents to go ahead for offer letter. 2 weeks they didn't respond me and stopped taking my calls and now HR said position is on hold after and under review, I am serving my notice period in current company since I resigned after offer and didn't give any interview in between because offer and HR was really promising.

Guys please suggest what should I do?
