Don’t bring it to school unless you’re sharing it with me. Ha ha ha.
Im giving it out.
It’s one day! Let students enjoy it! Give them several organizations to donate ALL of the remainder! Don’t let them continue eating Candy day after day after day!
Help them feel good about their “donation!”
Rising Star
I’ll take some lol
Nothing with nuts for elementary. By jr high and high school, they know about allergies
I'm giving it out in bags that go home
Kids are going to be hopped up on sugar for the rest of the week. I'll have to hide their candy and dole it out over the week.
I give out goodie bags. Teens are just kids. They really appreciate it.

Bring some for me, too!
As a parent, I never appreciated all the junk food given to my children during ES. Yet I realized that this was the culture. HS students will do what they do outside of adult preferences.
The same for staff meetings or Teacher Appreciation day meals provided by parent organizations/admin.
Eventually, we had parents who valued or became educated in nutrition for health and brain function.
They prepared the best (taste and health). Admin caught on and began incorporating healthier options (vegan etc). The desire/demand for the previous began to decline.
Also, HS students began to create healthier choices during Activity Club fundraisers (except the male athletes and their doughnuts 😊. They do burn 🔥 it off).

Today is National Cheap Chocolate Day. Rah!
