People don’t talk about this enough, but your work family really matters. I’ve worked in places where the team was toxic, and you dreaded every shift before it even started. Then I moved to a place where the team actually supported each other, checked in on bad days, and didn’t make you feel stupid for asking questions. It changed everything. I actually wanted to show up, do my best, and be there for my coworkers.

Crazy how the right team can completely change how a job feels, right?

I feel like that’s few and far between. As a manager, even trying to create such as environment is hard, because you are dealing with many personalities and behaviors- that can make it difficult. Good that you are able to experience it, it’s wonderful when you can.

Fellow P&T Directors - here’s a thread for us to discuss what we are hearing/not hearing with regards to PCLDE and the making of new partners in P&T.

On every call, we hear Joe talk about making new Partners and his commitment. I have yet to see any of those ‘commitments’ be reflected in actions or explanations. (eg. No senior directors from commercial GTM going into PCLDE this year …) What?

Do they really think we’re going to ‘stick around’ until they ‘figure it out’ …

What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?

I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
