I wouldn’t do anything. When a person usually dig a ditch they usually fall in the same ditch they dug for you. It’s called Karma.
I’m sorry you’re going through this. In my opinion, get through the year but set yourself up for a better situation next year. I got out of one school three years ago due to a toxic administration and me dealing with long covid, brain fog, mental health issues. Lucky for me I had two schools (I’m a PE teacher) and one was a safe place. My new school also had a toxic principal, but I only realized near the end of my first year there. I had to finish the next year, now I’m at a new school that appreciates me and is a better fit for me. You can probably find a school that is a better fit for you. Start now.
I'm so sorry. When your body is physically reacting to the stress, that's it telling you it's time to go. You can love the kids and still need to leave for the sake of your health. There are other schools and classrooms that would love to have you.
Stay strong!!! Keep a record of what you're doing with your kids. Documenting is key!!! Do not be afraid to confront your colleagues and let them know that you're aware of what they're doing!!! Some folks have nothing better to do than to run to the boss!!! If necessary, request a meeting to clarify things up.
That’s what I’m going to do. I’m going stay to myself and do what is best
Only you can answer what is right for you. Working with people who feel like they are constantly trying to catch you “doing something” is difficult to work with. Hoping you can work through it, but can also understand wanting better for yourself.
In the workplace, it is best not to try and interpret the actions of others. If you are feeling as though every thing you do is wrong, then it's time to consider another job or a temporary leave to address the issues you are experiencing.
