Pros and cons of taking a class year cut? Partner sees my potential and that there’s an actual evolution but I’m not there yet in terms of experience compared to my peers so he told me to at least consider a class year cut. I received an offer as Senior QA Engineer in Coforge. The offer mentions a hike of 30℅ from my current salary, no joining bonus and I'm assigned to band 3. There is also a mention of the probation period of 6 months. Can this be considered a good offer?

Currently working as Business Analyst (IT service management)
Client handling, managing several IT teams, releases, incidents,changes.
Defining UI/Functional requirements of replatforming systems. Integral part of a replatforming project of enterprise IT landscape, managing IT operations BAU, Hypercare etc.

But not an integral part of Technology/Dev team. I.e. low level system knowledge.
