I had my interview with JP Morgan Bangalore for the credit risk associate position 10 days back. Went through a referral and had the VP and ED rounds on the same day. VP gave positive feedback right after my interview to the friend who had referred me.

Wanted to enquire on the chances of selection and if the hiring process at JPMC is generally slow? Haven't heard from them since then. The job opening is still on the site, dated till tomorrow.

Has anyone read any interesting books on how to approach QA?

On my team, software engineers end up creating test cases by writing up step-by-step guides for each ticket. QA employees follow these and innovate them where they can - but they ultimately need SEs to provide them A LOT.

This process seems dumb - the test cases disappear after the ticket is completed and I feel like QA isn't much of a professional role if they just follow guides provided to them.
