Seeing my coworkers leaving left and right - by the droves, as a new hire - hasn't been the most confidence-inspiring sign at my new job. It also doesn't help that the management doesn't admit that they have had any wrongdoing or part in this mutiny wave.

It is especially tough if there are good things and intentions behind the management's decisions - but poor execution and follow-through is still a liability which can't be ignored.

When people leave in droves it means management is rotten. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

I'd continue to apply for new positions elsewhere, just in case. You're not going to be able to change how management goes about executing decision making.

I’m a creative account manager in retail/eCommerce. I was a creative producer before being an AM.

I’d love to move into tech but I’m not sure how my current creative experience would transfer into tech/at what company. I know there are creative producers/art producers in tech, but what’s the equivalent of a tech creative account manager?

I'm getting my brother autographed Panthers memorabilia for christmas, but I'm the gay son in the family who knows nothing about football... So we've got someone named D.J. Moore, another named Terrance Marshall Jr., Luke Kuechly, and Robbie Anderson. None of these names are doing anything for me, nor do any of the stats mean anything to me when I look up their names on Google. Do any of these names ring a bell to you, and which ones would be the coolest for a signed helmet/jersey?

Heading to an M7 soon from a tech company where I work in a product-adjacent position. I didn’t need this degree to “break into” product management (former company would have let me transition), but I still figured it could be good for the long run.
Now when thinking about 100K in loans, I feel anxious about not getting a PM role after. Was this the right move?

Can anyone give me their honest opinion on working at Eli Lilly, the Indy site? I have a few coworkers that have worked there in the past but no one recently. I’m currently being recruited pretty seriously for a in-vivo technician position in the auto-immune team, but I already have a job lined up at Envigo as a small animal sx tech. Salaries would be comparable (Lilly would most likely be a little more with bonuses), but if the culture sucks, I’d hate to burn a bridge with Envigo.

I applied for a job and received an offer from my client. 15k+ bump in salary, better benefits/remote work, and responsibilities will give me exposure to all areas of the organization (start up). The problem is that they’re looking to staff me as a Senior when I’m currently a Manager at DT. They said they’re flexible on title, but curious to hear how others have navigated similar situations. I would report directly to the controller and have 1-2 staff reporting to me...
