I don't understand why people call themselves "rising x year at ABC". For us who are plain "X year associates", are we doomed to fall?

I would really appreciate some suggestions for roles that I should be applying for. I recently started my MBA though I'm still having trouble landing interviews and think I should be applying for different roles than I have been. My MBA concentration is global business, my BS was in management with a minor in professional writing. I've been working in cosmetics mainly on the customer service side, currently senior support for the CS team and have experience doing CS on social media.

This is gonna sound stupid, but I’m honest - I can’t do math. Calculating a tip is as advanced as I get. Thank god for excel formulas and a math savvy husband. At the end of the day, I pay all the bills (I know- but I’m more organized) and make double his salary, what low stress effort (on my limited math capacity brain) can I do to increase wealth?

I feel like I should be doing more with extra money to help us financially, but I’m scared of having to study stocks and understand the numbers. 😖

Question: Girl friends parents finally came over for a ristha. Everything went great or so I thought but now she wants to time to think about moving forward. The pain point she brought up is that we are in different states and she is feeling pressed. Although in that time she has started communicating less and I literally had to beg her to get on face time. My gut says she wants to end it but unsure. Any advice ?
