So, I'm not sure why this is my job, but I've been tasked with training a few team members on proper breakroom etiquette. Basically, the CEO wants me to give these kids a crash course in table manners and not being greedy with the free snacks. How do I even approach these conversations?

Agree with above… general etiquette and overconsumption of snacks are two different things. We had the same issue and we simply put up a sign in the pantry that says “Snacks are ordered once per month, not based on consumption”. Meaning, go ahead, eat all the snacks, but once they’re gone, they’re gone, until we place the next order.

Is there a way to limit the number of snacks you put out? And I agree with HR Generalist 1 - put up a sign requesting that everyone only take one so that all can participate.

You have to love it when you have to play office mother. Send out a memo on proper break room behavior and see if that makes things better. It should be easier than trying to meet with the offenders one on one.

I wanted to get people's opinions on leetcode, codewars etc when prepping for interviews. I am a junior full stack dev looking to move to a better paying junior role or a mid role and honestly these style of questions have always stumped me. I have found that in a year of work to have never found them useful in tackling real world issues. Now I'm moving from a junior to a mid can I still expect leetcode style questions?

I work mainly with react, TS, node, graphql, mongoose and mongoDB.
