3.5 and going strong. hes tall too. aiming to max out or at least get to 4. the risks are too high IMO
We flipped my 2 year old because he looked uncomfy
2.5 and currently still rear facing. I will keep him that way as long as possible. Hoping to stay that way until 4 if he doesn’t outgrow is Graco Extend2Fit
Wow! I am impressed by you all. Every friend and family member I’ve asked has said right at 2 years old bc they got sick of the crying 😂😂😂
We kept both my kids rear facing until right after they turned 3. So what feels right for you and your family
2.5, 3.5, 4+. I realized the longer they rear faced the longer I had before they were dropping their crap out of their reach on the floor.
We waited until about 3 years old but she didn’t max out the limit on the Rava yet. She would get really upset rear facing and my sanity couldn’t take it any longer
after 3 with each of my 3 kids
Around age 4 has worked for us and it’s always happened because of vacation 😂
2 years old because he was consistently in the 99% for height and weight, and frankly, he looked uncomfortable and squished in there.
I wanted to keep my kiddo rear faced until 4 but at 2 it got really difficult to keep him in his car seat. He’s been happy looking out the windows since I made him front facing and never cried again to be in his car seat.
We did about 2.5yo. My brother did it without asking (I have a rotating seat) and it was game over because he loved it so much.
I will say I love seeing him and being able to talk to him easier
3 and still rear facing. Hoping to keep them that way until we reach the height/weight limit for safety. My kid doesn’t complain about it, it’s all they’re used to I guess.
4yo with our first!
2. He fights getting in the car less and doesn’t throw tantrums in the car seat and I feel I’m a better driver with fewer distractions and stress.
