Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? HR/LEGAL HELP: I work for a multi-state remote employer. I am doing a classification study of sorts and believe that we may have to reclassify some positions. The impact is moving exempt and salaried positions to non-exempt. This has caused us to consider what states we are/should be hiring from. Any issues with excluding candidates from certain states that may have more stringent pay laws? Appreciate your help!

I am being offered a Senior AE role, but the Head of B2B is also hiring a Head of Sales, North America.

I met with the person who will be leading NA sales, and do not think hes the right person for the job. Not someone I think I can learn much from.

I am fairly new to sales (3 years), and I just closed a deal that will pay out twice what I made all of last year ($75k vs $150k). My question is: nobody here can talk to their friends or family about this kind of stuff, right? Do you all disclose to people that you are pulling in $250-$300k in a year? I’m a junior NEP at an AmLaw 200 firm doing litigation. My comp. is ~$200K all in. 😓 No biz. of my own (I’m staffed on all institutional clients). I’d like to lateral to an AmLaw 100 firm as an associate or counsel (with the option to make partner in, say, 4-6 years). I realize it’s uncommon, but is it possible? Any ideas? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Trying to plan the next move in my life and I don’t know what to anticipate in terms of salary potential. I’m a 7th year doing insurance defense (slip and fall) with no trial experience. Didn’t do so hot in law school but still top half of my class at UM law. Some have told me I could lateral and make $150k, others say I’d be lucky to hit $80k. I know there are endless options in terms of what would govern this range, but what would be realistic to shoot for?
