Currently, we're using JazzHR for our ATS and importing new hires in ADP WorkForce Now, our HRIS and where we run payroll. JazzHR has been great, and ADP has mostly been a pain. We're also using Concur for expenses. Just did a demo with Paycom and was generally really pleased, except the ATS which seems really bare bones compared to JazzHR. Is it worth trading the ease and functionality of our standalone ATS to get an all-in-one solution?

What's your organization's stance on surveys? I've been in the HR department of my organization for a year and a half, we've never sent any type of engagement, satisfaction, NPS, etc. survey to employees. I've just been made aware that our Executive team and our CEO are not a fan of employee surveys so that's why we don't do them. Is this...normal? Or is it dysfunctional as an HR department to not be doing surveys?

When an employee complains about their manager how do you address it?...The employee was not reporting any harassment allegations; it was the standard “I do everything and make my boss look good while my boss does nothing all day.” There is really nothing to work off of here and I don’t know how to respond other than “sorry that sucks” and “what do you suggest be done?”

I've been in account management/sales hybrid roles for the last 8 years at 2 different companies. I am looking for roles that are strictly sales based where I do not have to do a bunch follow up forever trying to grow the business. I enjoy the sales cycle and don't mind following up for a year if thats what it takes to get my contract back but I am just not into the long term account development. Do any managers do more than just manage and lead the team? Currently I manage the team, manage accounting, handle HR, handle marketing such as documents and emails, provide all of the technical support, and sell. My boss still works from home and only looks at the phone report to check the productivity. They refuse to look at my reports or complete activity logs. FINANCIAL ADVICE NEEDED: I’ve been saving from my early 20s but made one mistake—using a financial planner whose company model uses life insurance for retirement, which I know realize is TERRIBLE for a young and single woman (I’m 30.) My current investments are: 1) Mutual funds 2) High yield savings 3) Roth 401K 4) Life insurance.
