I’m on the finance end of things, and my pillar has weekly meetings, my department has monthly meetings and our section also has monthly meetings.
Fortunately, I work remotely and can work through most of them so I can continue to work productively.
I get the need to connect, compare notes, learn updates about policy, needs for improvement, etc., but sometimes there’s just too many meetings.

Oh I agree !!! It’s unbelievable really !
There have been times when I've felt like we're having meetings to discuss why we don't have a reason to have a meeting. I think it's just become one of those things that people are conditioned to expect. And we've conflated things so meetings seem to be the work, when it often seems that meetings are really an impediment to work. I'd tell people that but it would mean having another meeting.

Sometimes it’s just so uncomfortable!
Meeting overload lately. I do see it is important to have them consistently so you do have the option to bring things up and discuss, sometimes though there is just nothing left to discuss. Hard to find a balance, we have weekly currently, what is your schedule like?
