Everyone is different and can handle different things. I knew after my first that litigation was for the birds and went in-house. Pregnant with my second, too! 8 months pregnant with a 2 year old.

I work for a surety (construction bond company). I had a background in construction law before going in-house. I like my job a lot.
Yikes! Definitely a struggle and juggle. Baby will be here soon and at least for a tiny bit you won't have to worry about work. Just think of all the tiny toes you'll be kissing soon and smelling the top of the baby's head. And try not to melt when your oldest shows a smidgen of affection to the baby.
There's light at the end of the tunnel.
I have been so busy with baby #1 and work that I haven’t stopped to think about the head smells and toe kisses 🥹 thank you 🙏
Pay for the nanny! the nanny if worth every penny.
My husband is stay at home and is amazing on that front, so we don’t need a nanny! And yet it’s still really hard to be a present parent and work!
Sending you a lot of love and support. I have older kids, still in litigation, and I'm struggling. Idk what the answer is, but know you're not alone
Omg you’re superwoman. I had to leave litigation with just a 6 month old because I couldn’t handle it. You’re truly doing the impossible so do not be hard on yourself!
It will get so much better once baby #1 is 2!! More self sufficient and easily entertained. I know it’s survival mode right now but it will be great!!
Me right now but with a 1 year old. It’s sooo hard I feel like I’m just not great anymore but also have nothing left in me
Solidarity. I am currently out on maternity leave for my second and am hoping to land an in-house role before my leave ends in the fall.
