There aren’t many things that kill morale faster than seeing rumours shape workplace decisions.
If you’ve had to deal with that, what helped you stay professional? or decide it was time to go?

I tried to do self talk and keep in mind that no places is perfect… When it comes to a point where more goes on then I would like, then I start looking for a job… Some people don’t let anything bother them so

Because you are a kind and empathetic being. Look for another job. I have seen where coworkers changed negatively due to that environment exposure. Who you are with does impact you.

Hi all, I’m looking to learn about how one can transition from PwC AC to PwC India.
I joined PwC AC Bangalore as a fresher and have been working here for 13 months.
I was randomly assigned to SAP, but I’ve realised I really want to move away from this and move towards what I originally planned on pursuing i.e. data analysis, I was already well versed in ML and DL with python.
If anyone has made a similar transition, it would be great if you could help me understand how do I go about this.

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

Thank you for your help and any additional thoughts!

I've gotten the Deloitte D launch orientation survey. Me start date is on the 16th (less than 2 weeks). I've emailed BI onboarding twice, called my recruiter asking if they are ok with background/employment verification check and I've not gotten a response. I need to put in my 2 week notice and all my recuiter has said is I can push your start date out. Has anyone been thru this ? Does getting the D launch orientation email imply everything is good with background/employment checks

Should I take this role?
Pros: 50k bump, company is full remote, no time tracking software, unlimited PTO, 10k in quarterly bonuses, vertical move in responsibility and title, will set me up for future roles in different companies with the title I am looking for (so strategic move)

Cons: Its a startup, the solution they offer is adjacent to my desired industry, its a very small team so I wouldn’t grow my network as much, tech stipend for new laptop (but they don’t provide a work one)

Hi All, I have an offer for SA - Agile Program Management . Have few queries:

What is typical wait time on bench to get projects (for non Java people)?
Are there any salary deductions on bench?
I heard Sapient have fired people on bench in past. Some have mentioned it is no more a practice currently. Need insights on this?

Thanks in advance.

I always bill 100% of my time and for my entire career in public accounting I have never heard anything negative until recently.. I was told to watch my time as the client doesn’t like to pay these fees, and the partner is unhappy because it looks like I have high hours. Is the message that I should eat my time? Or is it that They think I’m inefficient?
