There is only 10 days left in my notice period , but unfortunately I am not getting calls as expected or experienced during last switch ( it should have been flooding of calls by now ) . I am highly surprised why this is happening ? I am a regular visitor in naukri and all other job sites . I apply so many jobs and contact the HRs through mail also . Some people have opinions that this is the wrong time for job switch as everyone is in festive mode ? How do you see this l

Some companies give hike according to certain percentage. Nw from my previous Company's Ctc was very less. So if i am getting an 40% hike based on my previous CTC it's still less then my expected CTC and it ll be difficult for me to survive and relocate in metro cities. I am currently in Wipro having CTC as 7.8 LPA.. I have got an offer from TCS which is 11LPA.However, my Basic Pay/Fixed compensation is getting reduced in the new offer and also the HRA is getting reduced. The HR is telling that the basic is fixed as per policy and they cannot change it. The base pay is less but there are several other components which are higher. Should I take up the new offer?
