Does anyone feel bad seeing friends when you’re job hunting? Just feel like I don’t deserve a dinner out and will feel bad comparing myself since they are all doing fine.

I joined Accenture few days back as level 9. Till now didn't get any project. I have one more offer from another company and have not told them that I joined Accenture.
Should I wait for Accenture to allot me project or shall I abscond?
I am worried since I joined Accenture as level 9 team lead and what if they fire me? Or map to some irrelevant project?

90% utilization, great snapshots BUT no relationships with the partners in my practice + currently on beach. Everyone I've worked with is shocked. Was told there were HC quotas. Not meritocratic.

New to consulting... If your project is likely to get an extended/new contract but you do not want to get extended with the project, do you have a lot of say in pushing back and saying no?

Does Maximum Effort actually hire people? Is it anything like an actual agency or is it mainly just an offshoot of the production company

Been having trouble moving on since girlfriend ended relationship 3 weeks ago after 2+ years of dating. Before ending it she came over 3 weeks prior to basically give me a chance to work things out and we had a good discussion but then I went back into our routine and didn’t really fight for it or have serious follow up convos that we needed. Now, I have 1 Interview on 16th.
It seems everything is last minute.

I haven't told interviewing firm that i have an offer and joining new org....to get the interview.(told current salary as per my offer from another org) & NP as one month

I am currently in Wipro having CTC as 7.8 LPA.. I have got an offer from TCS which is 11LPA.However, my Basic Pay/Fixed compensation is getting reduced in the new offer and also the HRA is getting reduced. The HR is telling that the basic is fixed as per policy and they cannot change it. The base pay is less but there are several other components which are higher. Should I take up the new offer? Please help. New Job location is Mumbai.
