There was recently a change in leadership at my company and this leader set up meet and greets with a handful of us. I thought that was a nice gesture, but in the meeting they didn’t introduce themselves or care to get to know us. They instead pointed out all the things our team should be doing and actually started bragging about all their accomplishments. Is there a way to survive under this kind of leadership? I feel like there was no respect given in that meeting and feel terrible now.
