I’ve spent 20 plus years in retail management and I think it’s time for a career change. I’m currently considering Auto sales again or insurance. I’ve worked in auto sales before and it’s a completely different environment with good work life balance and Sundays off. You can also consider HR or recruiting.
Auto sales can be tough. I worked in a 100% commission dealership at the time. Some months were great and some not so great. I left because of the inconsistency with the pay structure. However, that was over 10 years ago. Many dealerships now are offering a base salary plus commission and unit bonuses.

Anything hospitality related might work. The only problem is that it’s a bad job market so it’s hard to get a chance to show you can do a new type of job. Best way to get a job would be to see if someone you know is hiring (aka network).
Customer success, sales, and operations roles might be a decent transition. If you are going to make the change, definitely suggest finding what a good long-term fit for you is.
You can always get into an entry level banking position.
I don't blame you honestly. Sometimes it is the best way to advance. There are so many things you can do with retail experience too honestly.

I am thinking of maybe getting out of hospitality. Or at least getting something less stressful that would allow for a semi normal life
