Meet with the person who left the feedback. For any area you don’t agree with, be prepared to explain why you deserve a different rating and back up with examples. Also, understand expectations and how the rating system works.

If that doesn’t work, trial by combat.

likefunny

I think it's fair to ask the reviewer their reasoning behind a certain rating. Then follow up and ask what steps you can take to achieve a better rating next time. While the reviewer may not be fair, at least you know what they expect.

I refused to acknowledge it, and eventually quit over it. I'm happy I did, what they were doing to me was wrong.

Sorry @PwC 2. I haven’t been on here since. I can’t believe that happened to you. It sucks that there are politics that we have to deal with along with the tremendous stress of client deadlines. It’s the worst part of working. I am glad that you are in a better place now

Yes, at my former employer and I didn't sign off on it so it was deleted from the system. A former director left it prior to leaving our firm so we couldn't talk about it. I've come to learn this is a common practice unfortunately.

I quit

What’re the various agencies/components’ return to office dates (if announced)? And what’re the remote work policies after that date? I hear DOJ said their individual components will decide when exactly to return between mid-March and early May and some are offering a lot of remote flexibility even after then. Curious to hear more details though, both for specific DOJ components and other agencies!

I have an MHA and 4 years of management experience. I’m currently a manager, but seeking a director level position. Any advice for trying to temper my expectations? I feel like all director level positions have 5 years in the posting, but a lot of my peers with the same experience are already in director level positions. Are they just lucky? Am I jumping the gun? Do I just need to stick it out?

I’ve never really felt this way pre-pandemic but now no matter what I do (workout, talk to friends, yoga) I still feel waves of sadness. I live in a cold city with strict covid lockdowns so I know that that is contributing to my sadness but just wanted to see if anyone else feels like this and how you are coping? I also haven’t traveled or gone on many social outings since last March so Ik that is taking a toll on me as well

Any tips for transitioning into a new firm? I was with my previous firm for 5 years. Came to a new firm a couple weeks ago, and I’m taking over around 25-30 cases, all in different stages of litigation. Any tips for someone who went through this successfully? It’s tough, between 2 different managing partners who are different but my cases are pretty 50/50 between them. My previous firm I had far fewer cases.
