This is not advertising related, but where can you get non-legging girls pants? Like for a 4-5 year old. All the pants I see are leggings or sweatpants. My daughter has a pair of looser straight leg jeans and they look so good and are comfortable. Wish I could find regular pants like that too. TIA

Ok so I have a kid who will not wear leggings as pants. Never would. Also wouldn’t wear jeans until very recently (middle school). She’s slim-built and wanted comfort and a straight leg fit.
Our go-tos are:
- crewcuts toothpick cords and runaround jeans (stretchy, but straight cut, they run narrow but have adjustable waist
- tea collection Moto style leggings (thicker like sweats but well cut and not dumpy
- gap “school uniform” ponte pants. Styled like jeans, thicker than jeggings. On a slim girl they read as loose pants. Seriously she has worn these for years and they are like $15 on sale.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for but will keep searching. I really wanted wide leg cotton pants. Almost like the gym pants that were in style like 15 years ago (what we used to call yoga pants). Also some of these stores my girl isn’t quite their yet size wise - she’s still a 5T.

I’ve been buying more Gap lately because they sell slim fit. Some of their girl clothes online are surprisingly cute! I love the Cat & Jack line at Target but I find it runs very wide even with the little elastic adjusters.
