I think Iran is a rich culture, if they dont want to be secular, then why couldnt they have religikn in their government? I dont think America is the beacon and light of a secular government.

At least they know what rheir country stands for.

Iran is based on strong rule the weak mentality, and in the case of this current regime they are weak in every sense except brutality of their population. Ruling by fear is not sustainable.

Iran was very secular and if you read into the history, the first human rights declaration is Persian(Iranian). The foundation and culture is not the issue it's definitely the ones in power overstaying and irrelevant in the eyes of over 80% of their young population.

Religion is and should be a spiritual outlet and never incorporated into a government.
