You should look for those clients who will recommend you (or bring you to their new companies when they move); colleagues who can help you build your internal brand to help grow your career; professionals in your industry and/or geography who want to keep enhancing their personal & professional skills.
Sales is an amazing role to be in and a great opportunity to meet a wide array of people.

Never assume something is a "done deal" until it's really a done deal. Don't take rejection personally. It's part of the job and can be a great learning tool.
