Value education-I feel like only teachers and educators really value it these days when we all learned from them. We are Not babysitting, or raising them, or brainwashing them, or otherwise not contributing to our youth. We ought to be valued always, not just during Covid when schools were shut down
Empathize. That's it. I'm lucky to have a bunch of friends who will listen to me when I'm having a rough day or week. Even though none of them are teachers, they still make the effort to understand my work, life and struggles, and I'm really appreciative of that.
