Traditional marketing tactics only go so far. In today's competitive landscape, how are you establishing yourself as a thought leader and go-to expert in your field?

Are you writing insightful blog posts, speaking at industry conferences, or publishing articles in legal journals? Perhaps you're active on social media, sharing your expertise and engaging with your audience.

I'm curious to hear about the specific strategies you're using to build your personal brand and reputation. Any tips for standing out from the crowd and attracting high-value clients?

I've found that consistently producing high-quality content is key. I regularly publish blog posts and articles on LinkedIn, sharing my insights on emerging legal trends and offering practical advice to clients. It's a great way to showcase my expertise and build trust with potential clients. I also make sure to engage with my audience on social media, answering questions and participating in discussions. It's all about building relationships and establishing yourself as a go-to resource.

I'm not afraid to challenge the status quo and push boundaries. I write provocative articles and give controversial talks, sparking debate and getting people to think differently about the legal profession. It's not always popular, but it definitely gets me noticed.

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.
