I am 2.6 years experienced cloud and Infrastructure engineer. I want to switch companies for better growth and learning opportunities. I have done AWS solutions architect Associate certification and AZ-900 certification. I have good knowledge on linux Administration, shell Scripting and java programming language. Has anyone successfully made the career move from an HR specialization to an HRBP role? If so, how? I have been working for 7 years in a very niche HR specialization and while I wear many hats on the HR team, I feel like this is hard to express to recruiters or even get an interview for an HRBP role. My niche area has really burnt me out, as it’s very political and I want to expand my horizons. I am already working on completing my GPHR certification. Any other tips?

How much of a salary bump does a secret clearance get? What are the salary bumps for popular certifications (PMP, agile, scrum master, etc.)? I’ve heard $10k for secret and $10k for scrum

For those that didn't make it thru their
MBB interviews and were told to reapply in a year, what point did you start studying again? Did you take a couple months off or still practice throughout?

I would like to hit fire between 40-50. Currently 27, 185k total comp (125 for me and 60 for partner). Like my job don’t hate it don’t love it. Does an MBA make sense? I’m guessing it could take me to 170ish with that schools I’m looking at but wondering if the 40-50 retirement range makes an mba not make sense since I’d only have 10-20 years to save vs 12-22.

I'm working at a startup where I feel like I've spent as much time trying to deal with product issues vs working on roadmap items. I get this is bound to happen in a start up but is this common?
