I have been rated Strong on ‘What’ and Needs Strengthening on ‘How’. My manager has decided to put me on a PIP for a span of 30 days. Unfortunately I am getting married next month. So timing is bad :(. I would not be able to make it no matter how much effort I put. Can someone please confirm

1. If I quit right before the PIP starts, will I be allowed to serve the 2 months notice?
2. If I quit halfway through PIP, will I be terminated immediately?

Is it naive to hope that there could be a job out there that I actually LIKE doing as opposed to just forcing myself to do it for the paycheck? I work for a great company with (mostly) great people but still find myself wishing I could be doing anything else throughout the workday. After a number of different jobs in industry and consulting have left me feeling the same after a year or so, I'm starting to wonder if it'll always be this way and actually liking work is just out of reach.

Best websites to get more of a handle on Excel as a beginner-intermediate?

This is my first recession as a working adult. Is there anything specific one should do to prepare? But ibonds? We typically invest ~$8K a month into a brokerage (already have an emergency fund in actual cash but it’s maybe 2 months cash), but wondering if I should stack a bit more cash?

No worries about job loss or anything in the recession, just trying to see what others investment advice in this time would be.
