Confused right now which to choose also been listening about recession and bear market so job security is also a crucial point in making a decision.

Recently started my own firm and interested in others thoughts. Are there resources out there for practical advice or is it only something that comes with experience? For example, I can take let's say a 601A client and use the resources available to me to learn how to do it. But if a client asks me is it better to marry my fiance in her home country, bring her here on a K-1 or have her visit on a B-2, that's not learned from a book or webinar. How does one learn how to evaluate new cases?

Salary check. Recently moved to DevOps from Support Management. No salary adjustment but the company took a chance on me and let me train into the role on the job. Once I'm better-established in the role (≈1yr) what should I be asking for? Currently at $85k, Chicago area.

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

Anyone from Deloitte or any similar big four firm exit to Capital One as a senior manager or a director? I’ve been applying to roles and getting nothing back. - Corp Dev analyst role for a listed niche gambling company

The tech job pays 15k more, but from what I can see will be a cluster and super long hours (has EU stakeholders). Maybe a pipe dream, but I want to have a "somewhat" decent wlb while still growing my career toward strategy and finance.
