Well, if I’m being aged out of advertising I can always go be a “cheese order writer”. And write. About cheese orders.

I do love a good cheese.

Elitist much?

No. I’ve gone after jobs “far down the rung” from where I am in my career and have been happy to do so because i like being in the trenches. And if it were this or not supporting my family, I’d go write orders for smoked Gouda and Manchego platters all day long. But at this point in your career would you happily respond/apply to writing cheese orders in Whole Foods? Your title tells me no. It was a joke about ubiquitous LinkedIn job notifications...lighten up, Francis. (I assume you’re old enough to get that reference.)

I think the person who writes the Whole Foods job descriptions used to be in advertising. If that’s not creative writing for marketing...

The executive CD of Whole Foods in-house was a highly regarded agency creative. West coast and Texas. This ad is for a local market.

So funny! Wonder why CCO didn’t get the joke ...

I wonder if you also have to cut the cheese.

Biggest cringe for me has got to be when people include “ex-<company name>” in their title… see it for loads of the big 4 firms and I’m thinking wow you must love slave drivers that underappreciate you 🤣

Does anyone else feel that the more content someone puts in their LinkedIn headline, the more full of it they are? I say this as someone with a bunch of stuff lol but at least it’s all at one company and accurate.

I’m talking mostly about two kinds of people. 1. The influencer who is actually unemployed, but lists 25 BS things they do
2. The brand collector, who writes “ex-“ for every former company they worked at and school they went to. Maybe less full of it but still insufferable.

I feel like I'm in a vicious cycle. I'm exhausted all. the. time. No matter how much sleep I get, no matter how clean I eat.

I'm heavy and want to exercise but I'm fighting fatigue to even do work. Weight is coming off with clean eating so there's that. And so slowly.

I'm looking for and am going to go to an endocrinologist - I'm female and hitting 50 and a bit scared how badly the fatigue is.

Anyone where I'm at that have solid things that have helped?
