Has anyone left PwC while they still had an outstanding Educational Support Program repayment agreement? What is the repayment process like? Am I required to pay back the amount in full the day I leave the firm or is there the ability to do a repayment agreement? I’m looking at new opportunities and would like to have my new firm take on the amount of the tuition agreement ($14,000) but don’t know how much that might limit my options.
Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

I’m at $155k as a 2nd year tax SM and HCOL area (NY metro). Highly doubt I’ll get to $180k next year
Under normal circumstances (no covid impact), I’m going to say definitely not lower than 200 for directors with 3 years of experience. As for an SM with 3+, also probably the same answer for specialty tax, but those in a traditional role like FS, pcs, etc, yes, they’re more in the 160-180 bucket there. It depends on the vertical.
In my 3rd year as SM i got paid $165K. HCOL city. SALT
Base
MY 3rd year as SM I was making 150k in a LCOL city, not really what you're looking for.
That’s terrible.
Interesting. I was at $190k base at D as a manager in tech consulting (non homegrown). Always thought tax was comparable but guess not.
If you’re in a specialty practice then no. If you’re just in a general role than may be lower.
