Hi Fishes,
Can someone please share the salary breakup for HCL ? Maybe a screenshot.
Actually, I want to review the salary structure and components before having a discussion with HR on this.
Based on information so far, total yearly earning
= Fixed + Gratuity + PF + engagement performance + annual performance.
Is this right ?
Do they give the whole amount of the engagement performance and annual performance ?
Or they give only part of it like Accenture does.

After reading all the comments, I feel you’re working at toxic workplace. Before switching to government jobs, suggest you to switch company. There are many companies where you work at your own pace and get flexibility and peace of mind.

Govt job itni bhi assan nhi h bhai mai bc 3 saal padha missed the final merit by 8 marks or uske baaad sabkuch tyag diya….switch maarra 400% hike liya. Abhi pura focus kaam pe got 5% hike 16% VP baass khush hoon or jo log mujhse 8 marks jyada laye wo ro rhe kabhi idhar posting kabhi udhar salary 45k. mujhe koi regret nhi jo hota h achhe k liye…….
Try CGL, ibps, sbi po, rbi group B, railway group C exams to start with
Yes, these will be good in terms of wlb. The best will be if you can get into Ssc CGL, that has relatively better wlb than banks (sbi and ibps). Railways is also good but the shift thing might be there depending on job role and is sometimes hectic.
What gvt jb are you looking for?
Clerks, administrative jobs, not technical desk works, officer posts. Where you don't have to learn technical stuffs and then unlearn it.
This fast pace IT jobs where so much challanges. I don't want these many challanges in my life. Salary is 50k but peace should be there.
Try to change domain but govt job u need passion for it
Passion for service. Might sound cliche, but I agree. Many of my family members were and are government servants, and all of them resonate with their work at some level. It could be a people facing role or an administrative one, to succeed (or be happy) as a government servant you need to look at the big picture and be prepared to let go any monetary ambitions (I am assuming you will not take bribes and such).
Buddy telling from my personal experience.
I gave CGL exams from 2012-2017 time frame.
The competition is cut throat. For 8000 total seats close to 20 lakh people are sitting. General category is like a Bane.
The results take anywhere from 1-2 years to get call letters.
Most importantly the toppers of these exams are working in the government sector and are giving exams every year and wasting seats because they are not satisfied.
Also take into consideration that you will not be earning and there will be certain responsibilities on you.
IBPS will never suggest as so much work pressure for sales and you could be posted at the remotest of places in India.
Having said this, if you can handle the pressure of not earning for the foreseeable future go for these exams and prepare for them as if your life depends on it.
All the best!

You won't find peace anywhere today , unless you have some passion and work hard around it .
People glorify life a lot as if it's amazing , truth is it's amazing for only 10% , 90% just have to struggle and live for small and temporary pleasures and die because there is no balance in how humans live around the globe

As many have said try switching jobs - maybe a couple of times before you give up on IT.
CGL pakdo, banking me b there is lot of pressure. Teaching me you can't go as you will need BEd as well.
Wrna try for IT department jobs in banks. Wha transfer ka issue kam hota hai and hiring b frequently aati rhti hai
Become a private tutor.....your life will be much more easy.....wlb and pay will be similar to IT field
Pro
RBI group B, IB DCIO . RBI group B has good WLB and compensation. IB DCIO post is a gazetted post(Group A) for engineering graduates and has upper age limit of 35 years for General category.
