Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

So you want a job who pays 6x the average household income with as less hours as possible? While also being quite young on the market (assuming less than 5 YOE due to "consultant")?
There aren't many opportunities, and many of those depends on some kind of luck/skills
Ok. Do gig jobs
Drug mule would score pretty highly on that rubric.

I guess i found what you’re looking for. I exited to 300k for 40 hour weeks (and sometimes not even).
And yet, i find myself unfulfilled. There’s limited company support for what i do, and things move so slowly that it’s hard to get real accomplishments under my belt.
Money isn’t everything. I chose this over roles that were similar pay at much higher hours, but i might have been more fulfilled from those. Idk.
Cool stuff. Did you get a good chunk of BD exp in your consulting role? Or how did you get to there?
Hope you don't mind me grilling you a bit! That's a path I am interested in a little later down the line
In other words, maximize - pay per hour
Yes but you shouldn’t frame it as such because your framing makes it seem as though the numbers of hours worked is given or fixed.
I am looking to find the highest paying job that requires the least amount of hours worked. They are both levers you can pull when hunting for a role.
Dude this is me too. I'm looking to leave GH but I oscillate between 30 hour weeks and 10 hour weeks and damn does it feel good to be able to do my hobbies and live life during those 10 hour weeks.
Hard to leave a good thing but I want to buy a house and I really should make more in the market I'm in
