What can you do if you have applied for every job on Indeed? I can't apply anymore and new jobs only show up every few days and sometimes they're repostings. I've applied for thousands of jobs so there are no more that I know of to apply to. Has anyone else applied for so many jobs, they're literally out?

Start looking at companies in your geographic area and apply directly on their company website. I feel like I've seen a lot of companies hiring directly that never even showed up on any of the job boards. I ended up finding a job that way once.

Did that too. But only in the industries that I was interested in because I know them but for companies I don't know its harder. I'm 15 minutes outside of a large city so its hard to know where to look. Its also a hotspot for local gvernment jobs but they use usajobs and govjobs.com

Partners - Do you ever take vacations?

I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal? I can't tell if it's standard for big law partners to not take time off, if the dynamics for my group may be different (only 1 partner in the entire group), or it the partner I work with is just a masochist.
