Hi fishies. I have a ton of interviews coming up soon including a case interview at EY within their Innovation and Experience Design practice for Digital Strategy Manager. I am super comfortable with CX, design thinking, etc which are the types of projects I would be working on BUT I am absolutely terrible in case interviews. I was hoping it would be based on CX or design but my understanding is there is some revenue component idk. Anyone have any insight? I would greatly greatly appreciate it!

Ignore your dreams and stay at the nightmare agency. /s
You’re employed “at will”. Which means you can quit any time you want. Or be fired any time they want. Including within the first week. Go for the dream job. And congrats!
Go to your dream agency
Pls confirm you jumped ship for the dream agency as directed.
Make sure you won’t be working on the bank client at your dream agency
Make sure the dream agency and work you will be doing are actually dream like. Then jump ship but make it as easy as possible for the other agency. Don’t burn bridges.
Apologize and give them 2 weeks.
Go to your dream agency
Go to your dream agency.
Go dream. I’ve seen this happen.
Go to your dream agency.
10000% dream agency
I’d make sure the ink is dry at the dream agency then ✌🏻. You owe these employers nothing. They wouldn’t think twice about cutting you to save costs. You may burn a bridge but oh well
Depends. How is the place you just accepted at? Sometimes it can be that the ‘less than dreamy’ place actually has more opportunity and potential for happiness than a perceived dream agency ( where you could go and be severely disappointed).
Go to your dream agency
Go to your dream agency. If you don’t, you could get resentful and always wonder “what if”. That won’t be fair to you or anyone you work with. It’s not just the best choice for you, but for everyone (whether they see it that way or not)
Go to your dream ag... well, you know.
You may burn a bridge, but if it’s really been a week they probably still have candidates to pivot to. So, while it’s not a good look at your agency it’s not the worst thing in the world.
Just make sure you have a signed offer letter.
This happened to me my first job out of college 20 years ago. I was there a week when I got a job offer from a place I ended up staying for four years. The woman who hired me first could not have been more gracious about my leaving so soon. She said “______ is a great place to start your career. That’s where I started mine, actually. Go get ‘em.” And I did. In fact, I work for many of the same people now as I did at my first dream job. Chase that dream. You may never wake up.
I did the opposite of this advice early in my career. Stayed to honor the place that hired me first. Still regret it 15 years later. I hope you jump to the dream agency!
Work at the dream shop. Giving a great referral or two to the place you’re leaving will help. You can also let a jobless friend or two know the position will be available.
